"Who am I? Why I'm the chief purveyor of fine goods in this deity forsaken frozen tundra!"
I guess I have a thing for feathered hats. Just thought of this guy and started toying around with ideas for a universe for him to inhabit. Possibly for a future comic or writing project? Who knows.
This is hopefully the first of many new artworks that I'm going to be pumping out so I can finally get this long delayed show on the road.
As for the digital painting itself I tried to incorporate more of an interaction with the environment around the character. I didn't want to be too dramatic but I wanted to make it noticeable so I tried to subtly convey the movement of the air by reshaping the furred collar on the left side to make it look ruffled. I also gave the covering head cloth attached to the back of the hat a slightly blown back angle.

I really like the color scheme you've chosen, especially that purple and green - also you've captured the essence of a slight breeze
